When you receive the comforter, plug it in and turn it on without removing it from the packaging. This will take about 15 minutes. Confirm that it is producing heat before un-packaging the comforter. Since our comforter utilizes patent carbon fiber heating technology, the heat produced is in the form of FIR (Far Infrared Ray). Since FIR is being released, heat will not be very noticeable when the comforter is completely unfolded. One of the main characteristics of FIR is penetrating heat, which the comforter itself is not storing. When the comforter is in use, the FIR will penetrate into your skin to keep you warm.
